This week, I sit down with Ali Shehabi, a Bahraini artist and photographer living in Dubai. He started his artistic journey capturing the streets of Tokyo. We get to discuss different perspectives on the Arab identity, and get in depth about a particular project he has been working on titled “Middle East To The World” showcasing personal stories and nostalgia to a western audience. In this episode we also deconstruct Ali’s many passions and his approach to analog photography.
