Episode 27 - Mohamed Elshahed
Don't postpone pleasure
“Instead of postponing things that make you happy till after retirement or when the right time comes, try to make them part of your every day life.” - Mohamed Elshahed
This week I sit down with Mohamed Elshahed, an Egyptian curator and architectural historian living in Cairo. In this episode Mohamed walks us through how his intimate understanding of architecture and environments has evolved across his travels, education and personal experiences. We also discuss ideas surrounding identity and labels, how they can sometimes be misconstrued and how we should go deeper in order to understand the reasons behind them.
